The Project

One of the things I am doing when things are quiet on the ship – assembling this model aircraft!

This doesn’t represent the beginning of second childhood (although that’s probably part of it) but is for display at home when we get back being the aircraft Merle’s dad flew during the Second WW (a Bristol Beaufighter).

Bought the kit in Sydney with the tools and paints etc. So far its coming along quite well though I would be pleased if I had steadier hands for the fine work.

For ease of transport (off the ship and onward) I wont put all the completed sections together until I’m ready to display it
